Ricardo Clark Midfielder of the Year (75%)

Rico Suave had a pretty suave 2015 and with a dominating win in the fan voting (the closest person to him had 12% of the vote) Ricardo Clark was THE man in the midfield for the Houston Dynamo this season. He started and played in 30 games this season for Houston and scored a personal best eight goals. Houston looked like a different team when he was on the field - a better team.

What fans had to say:

"Rico killed it! He was our most reliable mid this whole season."

"An easy choice. Rico's goal scoring combined with being the Dynamo's best defensive midfielder placed him head-and-shoulders above all others."

"Clark continues his invaluable play for the Dynamo, highlighted by his personal best year in terms of goals scored. While he requires a dedicated DM to function in his ideal box-to-box role, when this need is met, Rico was a force to be reckoned with for every team."

"MVP this season. Not just the goals, this guy was the heart of the team this year."

Dynamo Theory Staff Vote: Tie Brad Davis & Ricardo Clark (50%-50%)

It was a split vote for the Dynamo Theory staff.

"Clark was the most consistent player in the midfield this year and he brought lots of energy, intelligent & fierce defending, and plenty of quality counter attacks that helped him and others create chances on our opponent's goal."

"Every team needs a Brad Davis. The crafty, technically sound leader was his usual self when healthy in 2015"
