Houston Dash lose Toni Pressley in Expansion Draft

The Houston Dash lost just one player in the 2015 Expansion Draft. Toni Pressley was taken with the 8th pick of the draft by Orlando.  After the selection the Dash chose to protect Tiffany McCarty but Orlando opted not to selected anymore Houston Dash players.The recently traded Meghan Klingenberg was taken as the number one pick overall. Klingenberg was traded by the Dash to Seattle for Amber Brooks and a draft pick.

The defender joined the Dash in May of 2015 in a trade with the Western New York Flash that saw Ashley Nick head to New York. She played 15 games for the Dash this season.

Pressley's selection was followed up with an awkward tweet that had a photo of Jessica McDonald instead of Pressley.
