Rob Lovejoy Rookie of the Year (80%)

Robert Lionell Lovejoy III was the runaway favorite for this year's Rookie of the Year award as voted on by the fans. Taken in the second round of the 2015 MLS SuperDraft by the Houston Dynamo, the rookie out of the University of North Carolina make an impact in his first season as a pro. He played in 17 games this season and started in two of them. The rookie even scored his first career goal against the Montreal Impact back in April.

What the fans had to say:

"While no rookie was able to imbed themselves into the starting XI, Lovejoy came the closest, with his performances highlighted by his incredible goal against Montreal. Lovejoy's work rate and willingness to give his all on both sides of the ball regardless of the scoreline have underlined his promise. It seems inevitable that the youngster will replace an aging Brad Davis, though likely as a super-sub next season."

"His goal vs Montreal is reason enough, but he brought plenty of hustle and energy when the Dynamo needed it."

"That one goal from the bench was *awesome.*"

"Hustle, hustle, hustle. Made the most of his minutes."

Dynamo Theory Staff Vote: Rob Lovejoy (75%)

Lovejoy was also the favorite for the staff at Dynamo Theory taking 75% of the votes.
