It's time to pretend to be Owen Coyle (or picture yourself as the Dynamo manager) and chose a lineup to roll out on opening day against the newly rebranded Columbus Crew SC. There has been lots of talk about whether we should play a 4-5-1 or a 4-4-2 (flat or diamond) and there has been even more talk about which players should slot into those positions. Well, now is your chance to tell us again how you feel and who you think should represent the Houston Dynamo on opening day.
Just remember that some players have picked up knocks in the preseason. Giles Barnes has missed significant time since his injury in Arizona, although he did play 30 minutes in Charleston, Raúl Rodríguez left the game against New York City FC with an injury, and Brad Davis made his exeunt early in our 3-0 win over Orlando City SC.
Coyle said that a few players with little "knocks" came through training well. Davis, Barnes and Rodriguez are in that group.

Although all three players were back in training, Owen Coyle could decide to rest some of these guys and let the group that dismantled Orlando have at it.
By the way, I have to give credit to where credit is due. I got the idea for this from the Chelsea SB Nation site and I saw it pop up on Real Salt Lake's RSL Soapbox this preseason. At any rate, who gets in the starting XI? Has Alex Lopez made his case to start? Will Giles Barnes automatically regain his spot? Let us know below and feel free to share anything you'd like in the comments.
