The Houston Dash have released their roster for the 2015 season. The roster has undergone a number of changes since last season. They have added players to every area of the field except for the goalkeepers where Erin McLeod and Bianca Henninger are both back. The team has brought in defenders Rachael Axon, Allysha Chapman, and Niki Cross to help shore up the defense. Lauren Sesselmann and Brittany Bock are both back from ACL injuries though Bock is not expected to play in the first game of the season.
After finishing last in 2014 the team selected Morgan Brian with the first pick of the college draft, but as a member of the USWNT she is expected to be gone for the Women's World Cup taking place this summer. Meghan Klingenberg and Carli Lloyd are also expected to be in Canada for the Women's World Cup with the US team. Erin McLeod, Allysha Chapman and Lauren Sesslemann are all members of the Canadian Women's team who may miss time for the World Cup as well.
Tickets are still available for the season.
