Pick the Lineup against the LA Galaxy

Who's in your starting XI?

Could the Sturge be back?
Could the Sturge be back?

The Houston Dynamo were able to get it done at home last week in a 3-1 win against the Portland Timbers which helped earn them back-to-back wins for the first time since last August. The Dynamo rode a Man of the Match performance from Will Bruin as the Dancing Bear netted a brace. The Dynamo offense seems to be performing well, but the real lineup questions remain in the midfield and on the defensive line. Alex Lopez continues to show promise and versatility, but was shown the bench following Brad Davis's return from injury and Kofi Sarkodie looks to have been benched for a bigger central defense pairing of Jermaine Taylor and David Horst which pushed Raul Rodriguez to Sarkodie's right back position.

Owen Coyle's Starting XI

The Fan Selection was very close to Owen Coyle's lineup and formation except Alex Lopez, who earned a starting role at LM while Brad Davis was injured, earned the starting job once again over the Captain whose status was Questionable at the time. The formation had Giles Barnes in more of a central midfield role than a withdrawn attacker position, but it had Lopez and Boniek higher up in a 4-2-3-1 type of formation that could flex back into a 4-5-1 for defensive purposes.

Fan Selected Starting XI against the Portland Timbers

The Dynamo are playing pretty well on both sides of the ball, but Coyle hasn't been known for consistency in his lineups. The team's last visit to LA Coyle utilized a 5 man midfield with 3 central midfielders. Nathan Sturgis is still listed on the injury report, but has made significant progress since his shoulder dislocation and could return. Sturgis had surprised many this season by becoming a huge part of the defensive presence of the defense and even netting a goal (against LA). Furthermore, the defensive backline should be a mystery. Will Coyle throw Sarkodie back into the starting job, or will he stick with what has worked the last few games?

So who do you want to start against the LA Galaxy? Do you stick with what's working or do you want to see changes and play your lineup based on the Galaxy's expected lineup? Let us know and feel free to comment below about your choices.
