Houston Dash forward Stephanie Roche has been called up by the Republic of Ireland Women's National team for matches against the U.S. Women's National Team, it was announced Wednesday.

Roche will go up against Dash teammates Morgan Brian, Meghan Klingenberg and Carli Lloyd during the Mother's Day match up, set for 1:30 p.m. CT Sunday, May 10, at Avaya Stadium in San Jose, Calif. The Republic of Ireland team will then travel to Lauderhill, Fla., to face off with Haiti on Wednesday, May 13.

During her international career, Roche has scored seven times in 38 appearances. The 25-year-old joined the Dash in February and has made two substitute appearances during the beginning of the NWSL season. The Dublin native is the runner-up for the 2014 FIFA Puskas Award for goal of the year and is the first Irish woman to play in the NWSL.

After her two games, Roche will return to the Dash lineup before the team's next game May 15 against the Chicago Red Stars at the BBVA Compass Stadium.
