Ecuador vs Japan

Ecuador has had a rough Women's World Cup as they have been outscored 16-1. Angie Ponce scored Ecuador's first ever World Cup goal, but the positives pretty much end there for the team so far. Japan, however, has been strong defensively throughout the group stages as they have dominated Group C. Their methodical attack saw Japan score two goals against Cameroon in their 2-1 victory.

Switzerland vs Cameroon

Cameroon and Switzerland are currently tied for second place in Group C with Switzerland winning on goal differential. Switzerland got their first Women's World Cup victory ever over Ecuador with a score of 10-1. Fabienne Humm and Ramona Bachmann both scored hat tricks in the high scoring game. Gaelle Enganamouit was huge for Cameroon when they won over Ecuador but she disappeared against Japan. Switzerland will look to keep her shut down and control possession.
