The Houston Dynamo beat the Austin Aztex 2-0 Wednesday night to move on to the next round of the US Open Cup. Thursday morning, US Soccer held a draw to determine which teams would face each other in the next round. Houston drew the Colorado Rapids a fellow MLS team that they will face three times this year in the MLS regular season. The Open Cup game will take place on June 30 at BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston.
This year the 16 teams moving into the next round were broken down into regions and will advance through those regions until the conclusion of the tournament. The regions and results of the draw are below.
