Australia vs. Japan
With their win over Brazil, Australia became the darlings of the tournament that everyone is rooting for. They are a young team who has figured out how to work the counter attack to their advantage. Australia has had two more days to rest and prepare than Japan has. But Japan are the reigning world champions and know how to put together a strong performance. Their technique is second to none and they will make it very tough for Australia to get past them.

Canada vs. England
Forward Josee Belanger may only have 34 international appearances for Canada but she has scored six goals in those appearances included the winning goal against Switzerland. Goalkeeper Erin McLeod was the real star of the match who kept Switzerland off the score board as her defense failed to hold up around her. England had one hell of a win over Noway to get into the quarterfinals. They have made it to the Quarterfinals in their last three World Cups and each time they have failed to advance. England's attack is what got them past Norway and exactly what they will try to use to get past Canada and their shaky defense.
