Part way through the 2015 National Women's Soccer League season the league has signed a broadcast deal with FOX. As part of the deal, FOX Sports 1 will air three regular season matches and all three games of the NWSL Playoffs, which includes two semifinal games on September 13 and the NWSL Championship Game on October 1. Four regular season games will be available on the FOX Sports GO app and online. All of the regular season games will take place at Providence Park, home of the Portland Thorns, or at BBVA Compass Stadium, home of the Houston Dash.
The Houston Dash will play in two of the online games and one of the nationally televised regular season games. The Dash will be on FOX Sports GO for their matches against FC Kansas City on July 29 and Sky Blue FC on August 7. The Dash's game against the Seattle Reign has been moved from August 22 to August 21 at 7 pm CT as the game will now air on FOX Sport 1.
The Dash were part of several nationally televised games last season. The club is currently fourth in the NWSL standings and looking to make the playoffs for the first time in club history.
