Houston Dynamo midfielder Memo Rodriguez has made the 22-man roster for the 2015 Chipotle MLS Homegrown Game. The match is part of an annual showcase of the league's homegrown talent and will face the Club America U-20 squad on Tuesday, July 28th (8:00PM CDT streamed on MLSsoccer.com). Landon Donovan has been named as the Homegrown teams' coach for the match.
Only the second-ever Homegrown match, the 2015 edition will follow last year's scoreless draw that featured the Portland Timbers U-23 squad. This year's match will see some reoccuring faces including Chicago Fire's Harry Shipp, Colorado Rapids' Shane O'Neill, and San Jose Earthquake's Tommy Thompson. Memo Rodriguez will be the first Houston Dynamo player to be represented in the Homegrown match.
Here is the full roster for the MLS Homegrown squad:
MIDFIELDERS: Jordan Allen (Real Salt Lake), Jay Chapman (Toronto FC), Sean Davis (New York Red Bulls), Zach Pfeffer (Philadelphia Union), Memo Rodriguez (Houston Dynamo), Dillon Serna (Colorado Rapids), Harry Shipp (Chicago Fire), Ben Swanson (Columbus Crew SC), Russell Tiebert (Vancouver Whitecaps FC), Alex Zendejas (FC Dallas)

At just 18-years old, Memo was signed from the Dynamo Academy just eight months ago and continues to work towards first-team minutes.
