Carli Lloyd's 86th minute game-winning golazo from 30-yards-out put Houston ahead of FC Kansas City 3-2 to grant Nikki Cross a win in her final home game as a member of the Dash, in-front of 6,245 supporters at BBVA Compass Stadium.
Lloyd who's been on fire since the World Cup doesn't seem to be letting up as her goal scoring streak has now reached seven straight games. The Dash forward unleashed a ridiculous strike that re-established the reason to why the forward is among one of the best in the world.

Just three minutes earlier, Sarah Hagen equalized for the Dash as she capitalized on Liz Bogus' miss off the post and tapped home the rebound. The win vaults Houston over the defending champions Kansas City for fourth place and the final playoff position.
Kansas City opened the scoring in the 3rd minute after Lauren Holiday's shot from 18-yards-out deflected off a Dash defender and into the net. Ellie Brush scored her first NWSL goal in stunning fashion, with a terrific side-volley off Kealia Ohai's cross to equalize in the 12th minute. Jessica McDonald also got on the board for the Dash in the 18th minute.
The Dash will look to extend their winning streak to three-games when they go on the road to face off against the Washington Spirit on August 1. A win for the Dash would see the club leapfrog Washington for third place.
