Chandler Hoffman will be joining the Switchbacks on a short-terms loan. The forward has played in five games for the Houston Dynamo this season, but with the arrival of Cubo Torres and the team's exit from the U.S. Open Cup the chances for him to see the field have decreased in recent weeks. Hoffman joined the Dynamo this past off season after the team selected him in the second stage of the Re-Entry Draft.
"I am very excited to join the Colorado Springs Switchbacks," said Chandler Hoffman via release. "I'm excited to come in and contribute to the team to help make a push for the playoffs and ultimately the USL Championship. The team has a talented group and I look forward to getting to work."
Also, on loan to the Switchbacks is defender Taylor Hunter. The rookie is a Colorado native who was selected in the third round, 49th overall, of the 2015 MLS SuperDraft out of the University of Denver. Hunter has been on loan to the Switchbacks since April and has started one game for the Dynamo this season.
