Sunday, all of the MLS blogs at SB Nation got together and held a mock draft ahead of the MLS SuperDraft to be held later this week. The rules were pretty simple no trades and this draft only lasts for two rounds. As the Houston Dynamo don't have a first rounds draft pick (they traded it to the Philadelphia Union) we were left with a single second round pick.

The Georgetown defender would help create depth at a position where Houston lacked depth last season. While he did miss a few games at the start of the season due to injury he quickly recovered and got back to putting in a full 90 minutes each game. A versatile player he can also play in the midfield and we know how much Houston loves a solid versatile player. As a left-back he would be sitting behind DeMarcus Beasley giving Turnley the perfect chance to learn and grown before becoming a starter.
The defender is currently sitting at #29 on Top Drawer Soccer's big board while he is at #42 on SBI's big board they note that his stock is currently rising.
