The Houston Dynamo have announced that they have traded Will Bruin to the Seattle Sounders. The team will receive Targeted and General Allocation Money in exchange for the forward. As with all GAM and TAM deals the details of how much money was exchanged has not been released.
Bruin was the Dynamo’s first-round pick in the 2011 MLS SuperDraft. He has played in 178 MLS games and scored 50 goals in league play as well as having 20 assists. Bruin sits second on the Dynamo’s all time scoring list. He has scored in double digits in three of his six years in Houston. His playing time decreased greatly in 2016 as he came of the bench in 13 of the 31 games he played in last season.

Fans in Houston have been known to have a love-hate relationship towards Bruin. Fans love him when he is scoring goals but have been quick to turn on him when he goes through a goal-less streak. Sometime he alluded to in a tweet he sent out about the trade.
