Want to write for Dynamo Theory?

Have you always wanted to be part of the Dynamo Theory team? Now is your chance!

Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

Spend your days thinking about the results of Houston's last match?

Anxiously await each injury report?

Do you feel that no outfit is complete without some Dynamo orange?

We here at Dynamo Theory are gearing up for the 2016 season and are looking bring on more dedicated writers who love the Houston Dynamo.

Who should apply?

People who consider themselves Houston fans, for starters. But there is more to blogging that just being a fan. You might be the right fit if you are

  • A current or aspiring writer/journalist who loves Houston soccer.
  • Somebody who can write clear, quality English-language articles or has mastered the keyboard smash.
  • Somebody who has time to contribute consistently. Soccer never stops and you never know when news is going to drop. Sometimes it happens when you are sitting at home with nothing to do, other times it happens when you are in the middle of nowhere and have to write an article on your phone and pray that there is enough 3G in the area to get it to post.
  • Somebody who LOVES breaking down game film and running a critical eye over each game.

Our staff comes from all walks of life some of us started out as commentators on the site, others were recruited and still others responded to similar help wanted ads. DT may not be a paid gig to start but that doesn't mean that it can't become one in the future.

What do I have to do if I write for DT?

We all do a little bit of everything around here which means previews, recaps and the usual match day coverage. There is also the unplanned stuff like breaking news and rumors that pop up on the interwebs. However, it isn't all serious around here as we like to have a healthy dose of fun which means articles that can include any thing from opinion pieces to poetry (no really we used to have a poetry corner).

Just fill out the form below for your chance to cover the team you love.
