Midfielder Morgan Brian is set to return to the Houston Dash line up as the team take on the Washington Spirit Saturday, May 14.

After snatching three points from FC Kansas City on their home turf, Houston Dash travel to Maryland to pick up another important road win against the Washington Spirit, who are on a five-game undefeated streak so far this season.

Forwards Chioma Ubogagu and Denise O'Sullivan notched the two second-half goals last week that put Houston on top over FCKC. In the continued absence of Dash midfielder Carli Lloyd, who is still out of the line up for Saturday as she continues to recover from an MCL sprain, look to see Ubogagu, O'Sullivan, and the rest of the Houston continue to step up to the offensive plate. Game notes from NWSL state that Morgan Brian has recovered from her injury and is scheduled to appear in the matchup as well.

Currently sitting fourth place in the standings, coming off a solid win against the two-time league champions is a great boost for Houston as they head into the match against the current-league leaders.

As for the Washington Spirit, their Canadian goalkeeper Stephanie Labbe has led a strong defense, tallying her third clean sheet of the season last weekend against the Portland Thorns. With defenders Ali Krieger, Megan Oyster, Alyssa Kleiner, and Shelina Zadorsky, the back line of the Spirit have kept opposing offensives down to an average of 3.5 shots per game. Currently that number is the lowest in the league thus far into the 2016 season.

Washington also have never lost a home match against Houston. And with a striking force which had 16 attempts on goal last weekend — twice more than Portland was able to attempt — they will come at Dash's back line with determination.

The teams will kick off Saturday, May 14 at 7 p.m. Eastern. A live-stream of the match will be available on www.youtube.com/nwsl.
