Houston had to settle for another scoreless draw as they nor Vancouver were able to find the back of the net on Saturday night. Both teams went in to the game needing to come away with three points but neither were able to get there.

Wade Barrett set the team up in a 4-4-2 hoping to give the team an offensive spark with Cubo Torres starting up top with Will Bruin for the first time since Barrett took over the team. The team put together 17 shots in the game but manage to put just four of them on target.

The Dynamo were forced to burn a sub just 13 minutes into the game after Raul Rodriguez left the game with a right adductor strain. With Abdoulie Mansally coming on in his place, Jalil Anibaba slid to center back while Mansally took over at left back.

Of the 17 shots that the Dynamo took David Ousted, the Whitecaps goal keeper, was a big reason that none of them found the back of the net. Ousted denied Will Bruin in the 43rd minute as he dove to shop the low shot from the Dynamo forward. Bruin was denied by the goal keeper once again barely a minute later as Bruin looked to finish off a cross from Alex.

In the second half, Ousted denied Sheanon Williams header that came off of a low cross from Bruin. Boniek Garcia came close to scoring in the 73rd minute. Cubo Torres made a pass across the top of the box as Bruin dummied the play Boniek took the shot towards goal. His shot went off the inside of the post and away from the net.

The Dynamo are back in action on July 31 as they host the San Jose Earthquakes.
