Kealia Ohai's pair of first half goals led the Dash to a 3-1 victory over the Boston Breakers at Jordan Field.

Ohai has been dominant throughout the month of August, netting four goals in a three-game span as the Dash look to finish out the regular season on a positive note.

The victory over the Breakers marked an impressive breakout performance for the Dash and a well-earned victory to keep the club in playoff contention.

Ohai scored her first goal came a mere three minutes into the match. The forward received a pass from Carli Lloyd and placed her left-footed strike over Breakers keeper Jami Kranich and into the upper 90. In the 33rd minute, Ohai netted her second goal of the match, as she followed up a sprint from midfield with a curling finish past a diving Kranich.

Ohai nearly completed a hat-trick in the 52nd minute, but her shot deflected off the far post and Denise O'Sullivan's follow-up attempt was also denied.

Boston managed to get one back, as Breakers forward Natasha Downie scored a late goal in stoppage time to cut Houston's lead to 3-1. Lloyd also contributed with a goal in the 62nd minute, as she netted a chip finish over Kranich from way outside the box.

Houston's victory notably marked the return of Lloyd, while Ohai had her second brace performance of 2016 and the Dash collectively halted Boston's two-game winning streak.

With the club seemingly firing on all cylinders and being led by impactful efforts from Ohai and Lloyd, the Dash will look to build off of their crucial road victory as the club returns home on Saturday to face the Orlando Pride.
