The Houston Dash traveled to Swope Soccer Village to play FC Kansas City in their final game of the 2017 NWSL season.
The Dash fell behind early to Kansas City. In the 9th minute of the game Desiree Scott found Maegan Kelly at the back post. Kelly’s header went past a diving Jane Campbell to put FCKC up 1-0 early in the first half.

Daly had another chance in front of the net a few minutes later. This time Cari Roccaro sent the ball into Daly in the box. Unfortunately, the header from Daly was off target and went wide of goal. A minute later Prince took at shot at goal but it was cleared out by Sydney Miramontez.
In the 53rd minute the Dash were able to draw level with KC. Prince passed the ball to Kirstie Mewis who was running forward into the box. It looked like Mewis had a chance to score on the play but instead of taking a shot she laid the ball off to Daly who was able to find the net.
