Originally scheduled for November 18 the Kick In For Houston will now take place on December 16. The game will kick off at 5 pm CT on Sunday at BBVA Compass Stadium. The date was changed after the Houston Dynamo defeated the Portland Timbers on Sunday evening to advance to the Western Conference Championship. The Dynamo will face the Seattle Sounders at BBVA Compass on November 21 before travelling to Seattle for the second leg of the playoff on November 30. Pushing back the date will allow more Houston Dynamo players to participate in the game and events leading up to the game.

Houston Dynamo Legend Stuart Holden and Dynamo Charities put the match together to raise money to help people in the Greater Houston area affected by Hurricane Harvey. All net proceeds will benefit the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund established by Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner and Harris County Judge Ed Emmett.

Among the stars scheduled to appear in the match are Houston Dynamo all-time leading scorer Brian Ching, U.S. Men’s National Team legends Landon Donovan, Alexi Lalas and Taylor Twellman, Houston native and seven-time Cy Young Award winner Roger Clemens, and two-time NBA Most Valuable Player Steve Nash.

General admission tickets are on sale at KickInForHouston.com for $30 per ticket. Tickets that were purchased for the game on Nov. 18 will be honored on Dec. 16.

FOX Sports will offer match coverage across multiple social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. FOX Sports’ Kick In For Houston presentation features linear and digital coverage across FS1, FOX Deportes and FOX Sports GO at 5:30 p.m. CST on Sunday, Dec. 17.
