On Tuesday, the Houston Dash announced that they had waived forward Stephanie Ochs. She played in 12 games for the Houston Dash last season. She had been with the club since 2014 when she was acquired from the Washington Spirit.
“We appreciate everything Stephanie has done to help the club and the sport grow in Houston,” head coach Randy Waldrum said via release. “She played a big role in developing the club when we started in 2014 and we wish her the best moving forward.”
The Dash also acquired Camille Levin from the Orlando Pride on Tuesday. The Dash traded a third round draft pick in the 2018 NWSL College Draft for the defender. The trade reunites her with Sara Hagan whom the Dash picked up from waivers.
Levin played for Sky Blue in 2015 making 19 appearances for the club. She has also played for IFK Göteborg in Sweden and the Western Sydney Wanderers. The defender went to college at Stanford putting together a 95-4-4 record during her time playing collegiate ball.
