Houston Dash vs Seattle Reign Preview: With a 0-8-0 record against the Reign, is there hope for the Dash?

Silver Lining: The game is on Lifetime, therefore no go90 this weekend!

Dash vs Reign 8-24-15 Trask Smith

0-8-0 is the record for the Dash against Seattle, with the most recent defeat being in April with a 5-1 loss at Memorial Stadium. So far this season Houston has managed to win a whopping two games, with one of those being at home, and sit in 9th place on the table, barely ahead of the Washington Spirit who have a whole host of their own problems this season. The Reign are currently fourth, but lead the league with the most number of goals scored (at 15).

Houston is expected to be at full strength, but Seattle will be without Merritt Mathias, who was suspended for three games and will serve the final game suspension this weekend.

For US fans, the silver lining may be the game is on Lifetime, so the terribleness hassle joy of go90 won’t be an issue. In any case, losing by less than 4 goals may actually seem like a victory for the Dash.
