Houston and Portland Set to Play Saturday

Gametime has been moved from 2:30CST to 1:00CST due to heat.

Soccer: Tournament of Nations Women's Soccer-Australia at USA Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

Between the Tournament of Nations and the UEFA Women’s EURO, both Houston and Portland are likely to see some adjustments this weekend. None of the Dash players were called up for EURO 2017, but Lydia Williams, Andressinha, Bruna, Jane Campbell, Morgan Brian, and Carli Lloyd were called up for national team duty for Australia and Brazil. (These players are supposed to back by Saturday’s game, but it will be interesting to see how many minutes they get.)

The Thorns are still missing Tobin Heath due to injury, while Nadia Nadim is currently with the Denmark National Team (who will play Austria Thursday for a spot in the EURO final). Dagny Brynjarsdottir and Amandine Henry also saw action in the tournament, while Haley Raso was part of the Australian squad who defeated the US (and, baring a loss against Japan, may very well win the Tournament of Nations). US National Team players Allie Long and Lindsay Horan were called up as well.

The game will air on Lifetime and was originally scheduled for 3:30PM EST. It has since been rescheduled to 2:00PM EST due to the heat, and will still air live on Lifetime.
