New year, new jersey. On Wednesday, the Houston Dash quietly released photos of the new primary jersey for the team for 2018. The Nike jersey is pretty much another template design that fill the NWSL. Leaving teams to separate themselves using color choice and a team crest on the jerseys.
Vibrant and modern.

Unsurprisingly, the top is primarily orange with blue design on the body. The sleeve remain solid orange with an NWSL patch on the left arm and a Lifetime patch on the right. Still sponsored by BBVA Compass, the sponsor is written in white across the front of the chest. The neck is a white band which echos the single white stripe that runs down each side of the top.
While the Houston Dynamo spent weeks teasing and promoting the new jersey the Dash had little fan-fare before the announcement. Also, unlike the Dynamo, the team chose to use players to model the new threads rather than using models or fans.
The jersey isn’t available for purchase nor is a date given as to when the jersey will be available to fans, but the release offers you a chance to get on a mailing list to let you know when it is available.
What do you think of the new jersey? Will you be adding on to your collection?
