The Houston Dynamo’s Adolfo Machado has been named to Panama’s roster for upcoming international friendlies. The defender has played in 72 games and scored one goal for his national team.

Panama is preparing for the World Cup this summer after qualifying for the tournament for the first time.

Panama is set to face Denmark on March 22 and Switzerland on March 25. The game against Denmark will be played at Brøndby Stadium in Brønd. They will then head to Lucerne, Switzerland to take on the Swiss on the 25th. It will be a lot of travel and a quick turnaround for Machado as the Dynamo have a game on March 17 before the friendlies and then they face the New England Revolution on March 31.

Machado played the full 90 in the Dynamo’s opening season win over Atlanta United. The center back helped the team to a 4-0

The Dynamo kicked the 2018 season off with a dominant 4-0 victory over Atlanta United with Machado going the full 90. The Dynamo will face the Vancouver Whitecaps this Saturday, March 10.
