Houston Dynamo vs NTX Rayados
What
It’s the fourth round of the 2018 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup and the first round that will see MLS clubs join the tournament. The Dynamo signed seven players on Tuesday to short-term agreements to help round out their roster for the Wednesday night game. This early in the tournament MLS clubs often use USL affiliate players and bench players as starters to get them to the next round. The Dynamo have had a rash of injuries, particularly on defense, already this year and find themselves thin on regular starters.
NTX Rayados is an amateur club out of Dallas, TX who play in the North Texas Premier Soccer Association. This is the first time that the club has made it to the fourth round of competition. You can check out our full preview here.
