The Houston Dynamo play Los Angeles Football Club on Tuesday evening. The game will be the first time that the two clubs have face each other.

Last week the Dynamo dropped a disappointing game to Sporting Kansas City. Mauro Manotas put the Dynamo up early scoring as the game got under way. Manotas extended the lead just before half time with another goal to make it 2-0. The wheels came off for the Dynamo in the second half. After a 61st minute goal from Daniel Salloi the Dynamo gave up two goals in the final ten minutes of regulation allowing SKC to walk away with three goals, three points and a home victory.

LAFC is coming off of a big 4-1 victory over the Philadelphia Union. Adama Diomande scored three goals in the game for the first hat trick in club history. The team has put together a strong midfield in Benny Feilhaber, Mark-Anthony Kaye, and Eduard Atuesta. LAFC’s midfield may spell trouble for the Dynamo’s struggling back line. With a rash of injuries this season there have been a number of different players starting on the back four.

Sixteen games into their first season the Bob Bradley coached team from LA is currently sitting in third place in the Western Conference. They have a +10 goal differential and have scored 35 times this season. The Dynamo have played one less game than LAFC and are currently in seventh place. Their inability to close out games have kept the Dynamo from climbing higher in the standings.

The annual Honoring Our Heroes game will kick off at BBVA Compass Stadium at 8 pm CT.
