For 2019 the Houston Dynamo will be rocking what they are calling the Energy Kit. The 2019 kit is a bit more exciting than some of the solid orange kits we have seen from the club in the past. The design and name are a play on Houston’s nickname of the Energy Capital of the World.
The kit is primarily orange (shocking we know), but features Space City Clue on the back part of the collar. The orange has a sublimated pattern of jagged diagonal stripes going across the body and two black stripes running up the side of the body. The shirt also has the Texas flag on the lower left corner. And no Dynamo jersey would be complete without two stars over the team crest one for each MLS Cup the club has won. They will also be wearing orange shorts and orange socks for an all-orange look.
This year the Dynamo have partnered with MD Anderson Cancer Center and will have their logo across the front of the jerseys.
The team will debut the Energy Kit at home on Tuesday when they play CD Guastatoya in the second leg of the CCL tournament. The jerseys will be available for fan purchase starting Friday, March 1 on the MLSstore.com and will be available the following day to purchase in person at BBVA Compass Stadium on Opening Day.
