Who

Houston Dynamo vs Real Salt Lake

What

It’s Opening Day of the 2019 MLS season. Today it the one day when anyone’s team could be crowned the MLS Cup Champion after today darkness will start to fall for some teams. For the Dynamo they have a busy 2019 ahead but first up is Real Salt Lake. If you are looking for a fun, high scoring game chances are this won’t be the game for that, but winning on Opening Day at home one needs one more goal than the other guy.

The Dynamo will be without Ronaldo Pena who is serving suspension for touching Zlatan at the end of 2018.

Fan Lineups

Before each game we give you the chance to tell us who you think will get the start for the Dynamo. You may noticed that the players who make the fan lineup don’t correlate to the winning formation. The results are strictly the top formation and top players but when fans vote we don’t tie the two together.

This week most fans voted for the team to lineup in a 4-3-3 formation. The one and only Angry Joe Willis was the favorite among fans to start between the sticks. As for the field players there was a four way tie between Darwin Ceren, Marlon Hairson, Adam Lundqvist and Romell Quioto who all had 55% of the votes but only three spots left on the starting roster.
