The Houston Dynamo are coming off a home win over D.C. United with the substitutes Memo Rodríguez and Tommy McNamara scoring to help secure 3 points. The club will hope to improve its record on the road tomorrow as they head up north to take on Minnesota United FC.
The Dynamo win over DC wasn’t without its losses as Alberth Elis would go down early due to a probable concussion. Elis is currently on the injury report so he is unlikely to feature which is a shame due to how productive he’s been this season. Wilmer Cabrera will likely lean on his bench which has done well in the absence of key players this season. Up top we’ll likely see Romell Quioto on the left wing, Mauro Manotas as the center forward, and Memo Rodríguez stepping up to fill in for Elis.
In the midfield we should expect Tomás Martínez, Oscar Boniek García, and Matías Vera. At some point we should see Juan David Cabezas rejoin likely for Boniek, but I’ve predicted him starting so many times and have been wrong all those times that I’m going with Boniek until Cabrera gives up on it.
Defensively we should see DaMarcus Beasley starting at left back with A.J. DeLaGarza on the right side. In central defense Kiki Struna is a lock to start and Maynor Figueroa is likely back with the squad so I’d pick him over Alejandro Fuenmayor.
