Exactly one year ago, the Dash made a mid-season trade to acquire Sofia Huerta and a hard-nosed American defender. Today, that defender decided to call it a career.

Taylor Comeau started her career in Portland and then played three seasons for Chicago. While with the Red Stars, she played in their starting XI for the majority of her time there and scored two goals. Last season Comeau was traded to Houston in order to improve the Dash’s back line. Dash fans were hoping to see a strong season from Comeau but unfortunately she suffered a season ending shoulder injury.
We wish Comeau the best in her retirement.
