Wilmer Carera hasn’t had almost three full seasons with the Houston Dynamo. His first season ended with a winning record and the team’s first playoff appearance in four years. His second season ended with a U.S. Open Cup championship for the first time in organization history. His third season looks like it will end without a job.
Can confirm, as first reported by @DEPORTETOTALUSA, .@wclsoccer13’s dismissal as head coach of the @HoustonDynamo. He was relieved of his duties this afternoon. Players, staff have been informed. Sources tell me Davy Arnaud assumes the post of interim HC effective immediately.

Cabrera ends his Dynamo tenure with a 32-39-22 record and a US Open cup championship.
Former MLS midfielder and former US national team member Davy Arnaud will take over as the interim head coach. Arnaud hasn’t been a Dynamo assistant for the past three seasons and a DC United assistant before.
