Houston Dynamo given 100-1 odds to win the MLS Cup

I’m not much of a gambler, however I am fairly interested in odds and sports betting. Usually the oddsmakers in Las Vegas do a quality job of setting the odds in a favor that will earn them money. One thing I find funny however is that they give EVERYONE possible an odd to do anything. If it’s mathematically and technically possible, then Vegas will give it odds. You know what that means: the Houston Dynamo still have a chance to win it all.

After getting destroyed by FC Dallas, the Dynamo’s odds to win the whole thing have dropped near the bottom. Only four MLS teams have worse odds and after six straight winless games and a coaching change, things do not look to be improving. As far as the top of the league, LAFC leads all teams with three to two odds followed by Atlanta and NYCFC with 13 to two odds.

With all that being said, maybe the team does turn it around and the greatest story in MLS history happens and the DYnamo win it all. If you have the faith, then put your money where your mouth is. You could make $1,000 with a meager $10 bet. I, for one, will spend my $10 on something more satisfying: on the final two Popeyes Chicken Sandwiches left around.
