According to Spanish media outlet Fichajes.com, the Dynamo have turned down a transfer offer for forward Mauro Manotas.
La Liga club Granada CF were the club interested in buying Manotas. With a day and a half left in the European transfer window, the Spanish side were looking to reinforce their attack but the amount offered was deemed too low by the Dynamo and Major League Soccer, according to the report.
If Manotas is going to make his long rumored move to Europe, time is running out before the MLS season starts. If a deal isn’t reached in January, the European window does not open again until the summer, smack dab in the middle of the MLS season.
So, will Manotas be sold in the hours left of the winter window? Or will the team look to move him mid season, even if the Dynamo are having a successful campaign? We’ll have to wait and see what the future holds for Mauro.
