The Houston Dash started the week off by confirming two major trades. The first was getting Goalkeeper Bianca Henniger from Kansas City FC in exchange for the 19th pick in the NWSL College Draft set to happen on Friday. The second was trading Danesha Adams to the Washington Spirit for forward Stephanie Ochs.
Henniger played in two games for Kansas City FC and was on loan to Bayern Munich where she suffer a hand injury. However, she will be fully healed before the NWSL pre-season starts up.
Ochs played last season for the Spirit and signed with Canberra United in September in Australia. While there she made 3 appearances and scored 4 goals. She will make a strong and speedy partner for Ella Masar up top, where most likely the Dash will use one of their draft picks on Friday.
The Dash now has 14 players under contract with 6 spots still open. They will be looking to fill a number of those spots on Friday during the NWSL College Draft on Friday.
